So I really enjoyed this challenge last year, and while I didn't make as much headway on my physical TBR mountain as I wanted, I still think I did pretty damned good. That said, this year is ALL about the piles and shelves of books taking over our house, so all of my 52 books for my Goodreads challenge are going to be physical backlist books for #BEATTHEBACKLIST. Hopefully this will actually help me weed through and possibly pass on some books after I read them too. Hopefully? I'm hoping the community spirit with the challenges (and BINGO card to the left which I'm a little too obsessed with doing LOL) and all will keep me on track.

Anyway, this year I am doing something just a little different and actually writing down my exact list of books I want to try to tackle. I've even shelved them separately just to hopefully keep me from getting so overwhelmed by the ridiculous number I have to read total (it's probably twice what I've set aside for this challenge at least LOL) that I fail to choose a new book and go for a reread and/or fanfic. Progress is the goal!
