I just wanted to give a quick shout out to all my new subscribers from the delightful NaNoHop! I figured I would do a quick explanation of how I usually run my blog in case any of you were wondering what you were in for LOL
Mondays tend to be general long form blogs on various writing & reading topics. I've babbled about everything from where my sexuality intersects with my bookish habits, to trying out new forms of stories to write, to fighting my way through writer's block, and more. I rarely know what I'll be blogging about from one day to the next, so feel free to drop me a line if you have a question you'd like me to address or a topic you think would make for a great post!
Friday are for Friday Reads nine times out of ten: my Never Enough Bookshelves series is my way of forcing myself to do that single thing that can help authors most: review their books! I have a horrible habit of reading like the wind and then forgetting to review, so knowing that I need to have a book post up on Fridays helps force me to keep up the habit!
Obviously, there will be weeks when I go off this schedule, either for book release posts on specific days, or (like this month) when I am participating in an online event like #Diversitydecbingo where I'm trying to read only diverse books this month and review each I've finished as I finish them (and yes I'm aware I've only managed one book so far this month and it's already the 19th, but it's been a rough month, y'all LOL). I may also skip weekly posts if life gets too crazy, but I try not to miss too many in a row. What can I say: consistency in blogging is a relatively new habit for me - I'm getting better at it, but it's still a work in progress.
By the way, I always love having guest posts, interviews, release day posts, or even book recs, so feel free to shoot me a message if you'd like to borrow my blog for a day! I'm always thrilled to get to feature some of my online tribe and hopefully get more readers your way!
So yeah, that's me and my blog! Let me know if you have any questions/comments/concerns. I love getting to chat with folks! :)
